1) |
Download, print and
sign the following documents:
The Product Safety Zone Application and
TÜV
Application. If you are not currently a
customer of TÜV,
the following forms are also required:
TÜV
Client Profile,
TÜV
General Terms and Conditions |

2) |
Submit a copy of your
CB certificate and test report along with the items listed in the
"Approval
Checklist" |
| |
3) |
The Product Safety
Zone will create a GS or Bauart test report based on the information
provided and will also address the German country deviations |

4) |
The Product Safety
Zone will create the Constructional Data forms listing all critical
components and will return this document to the manufacturer for a
signature |

5) |
The Product Safety
Zone will deliver all the required documentation to TÜV
for processing |
| |

| Turn-around Time: |
|
After the Product
Safety Zone receives all of the required documentation, you should
receive a "Confirmation Type Testing" letter from TÜV
within 2 weeks*. The GS or Bauart certificate will follow shortly
thereafter. Note: This turn-around time is based on the information
complying with TÜV
requirements, test specification requirements
and German deviations. The certificate can only be issued after a
successful factory inspection (if your factory has not yet been
approved by TÜV
a "First Factory" inspection must be performed) |

Product Safety Zone and TÜV
